Sunday morning "DIG" SEMINARS

We meet every Sunday Morning at 9:00 am

For more information about each study, email the leader below.

  • Systematic Theology

    • Leader: Gary Thomas (email), Jacob Bingham (email), and Rene Gonzalez (email)
    • When: 9:00-10:00 a.m. every Sunday
    • Where: Sanctuary
    • Who: Everyone is Welcome!
The word “theology” literally means words about God and “systematic theology” refers to the orderly arrangement of the study of God into logical, topical divisions such as God’s Word, God’s attributes, Creation, etc. The goal is to gather all the texts that deal with a particular topic, interpret them within the broad storyline of Scripture, and then summarize them in a faithful and coherent manner. The primary reason for theology (study of God) is doxology (worship of God). To know God and His Word more fully is to love Him more fully.
  • Scripture Memory

    • Leader: Brad Bevil (email)
    • When: 9:00-10:00 a.m. every Sunday
    • Where: Adult Hallway - Last Room on the left
    • Who: Everyone is Welcome!

While strategies and tools for memorizing effectively will be shared, this is primarily a place to come alongside others who are memorizing Scripture. Each week, those who attend will have the opportunity to quote some of what they are working on. It might be a verse, passage, chapter, or whole book. You are always free to not share and simply be inspired and encouraged by listening.

  • For women: Desiring God

    • Leader: Mandy Bunn (email)
    • When: 9:00-10:00 a.m. every Sunday
    • Where: Adult Hallway - First Class on the Right
    • Who: Women!

Experience the Lifelong Pleasures of Knowing God! Satisfaction…Happiness…Joy. The pursuit of pleasure in God is not only permissible, it’s essential. Piper reveals that there really is no need to choose between duty and delight in the Christian life. In fact, for the follower of Jesus, delight is the duty as Christ is most magnified in His people when they are most satisfied in Him. We’ll look at the implications of this for conversion, worship, love, Scripture, prayer, money, marriage, missions, and suffering. Desiring God may turn your Christian world upside down. And that will be a good thing, for the glory of God, and for your deepest joy.
